MOTOROLA XOOM Android Tablet Review

There are so many tablets coming out lately, it’s hard to keep track. Not too long ago, I was in your shoes, trying to find the perfect tablet for myself. Luckily, I came across the MOTOROLA XOOM Android Tablet. While everyone is different in their requirements, this exceeded my expectations and I’m so glad I waited and researched each tablet before choosing this one.

My favorite features are the 10.1 inch screen and the 32GB memory. I am easily able to store all my music on this tablet with no problem, my games and do all of my work on it. I love having a mini-computer on the go. It’s something I’ve always dreamed of but didn’t think it would ever actually happen. On top of that, you just can’t go wrong with free Wi-Fi. While paying for internet gives you constant access, when you don’t need that feature, why not save some cash? I’m always going to coffee shops, or using the internet from my house. It just doesn’t make sense for most people to pay for internet on their tablets unless they travel a lot. Even then, you can use a hotspot on your phone and such.

One of my biggest concerns is always battery life. I was completely shocked to find the XOOM gives you up to 10 hours of battery life. I never have to bring my charger with me anywhere, unless I’m spending the night somewhere. It’s nice that this tablet is so easy to carry. I got so used to carrying my laptop with me everywhere that I forgot how heavy it was.

If you work from home like me, it’s nice to have a camera on the front and back of your tablet so you can talk to your friends or clients when you are away from the home. I can’t imagine not having this feature available.

I’m a huge fan of Android. There’s nothing better than having thousands upon thousands of free apps to choose from. I’m always downloading things, trying them out and then if they aren’t what I expected, I find another one. I’ve never had any issues and have never had to pay for anything.

There have been many customers who complain about the MOTOROLA XOOM, saying it’s hard to get used to and a bit confusing to use at first. This is true with any new device you purchase; look at cell phones for example. Also, if you are used to Apple, then you may not like the selection of apps. Check out an iPad to compare and see what you like better. I personally am an Android fan all the way.

The MOTOROLA XOOM Android Tablet is a complete dream to me. I can’t believe I have such easy and simple access to my work and my friends while on the go. I thought it was a bit heavy to begin with, but I can’t imagine it being lighter. The screen size is perfect for what I need it to do.
