ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101-A1 Review

If you’re looking for a stunning tablet that can just about take the place of your laptop, then you may want to check out the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101-A1. This tablet has all the top of the line technologies and is also very inexpensive.

The first thing I must discuss is the 10” LED Touch screen that is simply stunning. This screen is great for watching movies as well as doing more basic tasks such as browsing the web or writing. This screen is the perfect size to get the job done so you get the full experience of everything all while on the go. If you are looking for something smaller, you may want to try out the Samsung Galaxy. It all depends on what you will be using your tablet for. In all honesty, the size is something you can easily adapt to and I promise you, you’ll be happy you went with a larger model than something small. Small models are very restricted when it comes to viewing.

No tablet is complete without Android 3.0. Android gives you the best apps out there and is continually growing and changing things up. I was blown away when I was first introduced to the Android Operating System. The amount of free apps still shocks me to this day. It’s great to not have to pay for every single thing you want to use on your device, because half the time, you purchase something and realize you don’t really want it.

The GPS on this Asus TF101-A1 is wonderful. It’s great because you literally have your GPS with you 24/7. Cell phone GPS is fine, but I love the way the tablet is so easy to use, see and read. Definitely something I won’t want to live without from now on. With a battery life of over 9 hours, you are going to be able to be away from home for long periods of time without interruptions due to constant charging.

With the HDMI port and SD card slot, you will be able to hook your computer up to your TV to watch movies or simply show off your latest work. Plus, with an SD card, you can back up all your information and bring it with you when you don’t have your tablet. This makes for very easy data transfer between devices.

All products are going to have their downsides, depending on what you’re looking for. One thing that bothers me is that the charger on this tablet’s (as well as others I have used) is way too short. This is done because you are meant to only charge while plugged in, doing other things will slow down the charging. Which; by the way, is insanely fast so it’s really not an inconvenience. The camera could be better as well, but tablets are not really meant for pictures, that’s just a plus. The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101-A1 is one of my favorite tablets and I hope you enjoy all it has to offer as well.
