These days, it seems like everyone is coming out with a tablet. These items have become the talk of the town and everyone seems to either want one or already have one. Personally, I love the Acer Iconia Tab A500-10S16u. This tablet has a lot to offer that others simply can’t; making it stand out and be on the top of my list of future investments.
Something that’s very hard to find when it comes to tablets is the ability to multi-task. Typically, the devices are made solely for doing basically one thing at a time. When you start opening up multiple tabs on the internet and things of that nature, you can usually notice a huge decrease in speed. With this tablet, you don’t notice those same issues. This Acer A500-10S16u is meant for multitasking, which is great for just about everyone. I’ve never met anyone who goes online and only does one thing. Typically, as you go along, you end up surfing, or watching videos even if that wasn’t your intention from the beginning.
The 10.1” screen makes this a great tablet for watching movies, checking out YouTube and updating your status on your favorite social networks. This really is like a mini computer. Not something that could replace a computer, but hopefully one day there will be tablets like that. I’m looking forward to the future of this technology because it keeps getting better each month it seems like. Things are always changing really quickly.
Acer was sure to include the Android 3.0 Honeycomb, so you know you have the latest technologies out there as well as access to the Android App system; which is a fan favorite. You also get a camera on the front of the device as well as on the back. This makes taking photos and live chatting with your friends a breeze; and to think, you can do it from anywhere and everywhere.
Still not sure? There are a few 3 year warranty options available to help you stay covered. With any big purchase it can be quite intimidating to figure out what you want and how to protect yourself. Acer makes that part easy so you can enjoy the product and not deal with the stress of the unknown.
Overall this is a wonderful product but there are a few glitches I must discuss. First off, there is no Netflix App. For now, Android does not carry such an app. The only way to get the Netflix app on a tablet is by purchasing the iPad. Hopefully this will change soon. Also, there have been reports of glitching when downloading but this should be an easy fix via updates.
I would highly recommend this Acer Iconia Tab A500-10S16u to just about anybody. I love the design, the size of the screen; the ease of its use. Acer really put a lot of hard work into this thing and it shows. I’m excited to see what this company has in store for the future. Who knows!
